2010 Car Show Calendar

July 10th The Second Country Road Rally We will be running another road rally (poker run) on July 10, 2010. It will begin at
the Burger King on Rt 28 in Manassas, by the airport. This is the same Burger King that has a cruise every Saturday evening
put on by Bull Run Street Rods. We will begin at 11AM with the last car out from that stop at 1PM. The rally will end at Foster’s
Grille on Rt 17 in Stafford at 6PM. The Virginia Stockers monthly cruise will be in progress when we get there. The cost is $10
per rally card. You can purchase as many rally cards as you want at $10 each. Half of the money collected will be given out as
prize money to the wining hand. The other half will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project. The remaining 5 stops and other
directions will be given out when you purchase your rally card(s) at Burger King. The total distance of the rally can be 92 miles.
Each stop will have something of interest to explore….you may stay at each of the stops for 30-45 minutes as long as you are
at the finish by 6PM. The event will be over at 6PM sharp, no exceptions. At each stop you will draw a playing card and it will
be recorded on your rally card. The person with the highest poker hand at the last stop will win. All ties will be broken by one
draw and the highest card will win. This will be a rain or shine event, if weather is good bring your ‘special’ car, if it is bad bring
your normal car. If you do the math you can tell you have 7 hrs to go 92 miles….I think that would mean you could drive
around 13 mph and make it! And it also points out that speed is not your friend in this rally! Obey all traffic laws and enjoy the

July 24th The 3rd Annual Manassas Park High School Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show will be held at from 9 AM to 3 PM at
Applebee’s Restaurant located at 9501 Liberia Ave in Manassas VA (Rain date is July 25th). $15 entry fee. Trophies, award

Sept 5th The Salem VFD Annual Car, Truck & Bike Show will be held on Route 522 North in Culpeper VA. This will be a judged
show from 9 AM to 3 PM. Top 50 awards plus specialty awards. Raindate is Labor Day. Registration is $15. For more information

Sept 11th The Reva VFD 8th Annual Car, Truck & Bike Show will be held in Culpepper VA from 8 AM to 3 PM. Top 40 awards &
dash plaques to first 100 registered. Registration is $15 day of show.

Sept 25th All MOPAR show at Chrysler of Culpeper at 11030 James Monroe Highway Culpeper, VA, 22701.
Prizes for many classes, proceeds go to charity, done with the assistance of the Rappahannock MOPAR club.

October 9th - Karb Kings Car Club VA presents the Rockabilly Hotrod Rumble, hotrod & kustom car show (formally the 69 &
back hotrod show). Steckler Showplace 12312 Spotswood Furnace Road Fredericksburg VA 22407 (across from River Bend high
school) 9:00am - 5:00pm . registration from 9am - 1pm . $15.00 day of show. spectators free.. 6 rockabilly bands, venders,
kustom trophies, pin up contest, food, tattoo contest, tattooing on site, pinstripers, dj record hop, door prizes, bikini contest,
50/50, games, swap meet, and much much more. Open to all pre-1972 cars, trucks & bikes. This is a new location with lots of

October 16th (rain date of the 17th) Tire Plus Car show in Stafford's Aquia Town Center--Free admission show with 21 or
more trophies. There will be plenty of free food (Dogs, Chips) and Drinks along with lots of door prizes. The show will go from 9
AM till 3 PM. Registration will close at 1 PM. This show has grown tremendously in the past two years and has become one of
the best Fall shows in the area. Drop by and have some great family fun and the best part " It's free" no charge to enter, no
raffle tickets to buy and the food is great.
